I'm a fun loving gal who believes in kindness, love, and that a smile will go a long way. I believe Jesus died for my sins and that we are called to love one another and lift each other up. I am married to the most suportive, generous man and together we have three (not so) tiny humans better known as our kiddos. I grew up around the photography industry where several members of my family worked for a National Portrait Studio. I will never forget the smell of the warehouse where all the images were processed, printed and packaged. At a very young age I was taught the value of a photograph and how each one represented a point in someone's life that was documneted. Like many, once I had a family I knew that I wanted to remember all of their moments. I bought my first SLR camera when my oldest kiddo was born. What started out as me just documenting their life quickly turned into a dream I never knew I had and three years later, in 2008, Sweet Pea Studios was born.

Why the name Sweet Pea Studios? I'm glad you asked! I have one daughter and she is my youngest. As soon as she was born, my Dad lovingly referred to her as Sweet Pea and I fell in love. When deciding to pursue this photography dream as a job, Sweet Pea Studios was the only name that fit.
