About four years ago I met this sweetest little family who just had their first son.  We photographed them in my studio and it was very clear they were in love.  About a month ago, the same sweet mama reached back out to me because they had recently moved back to town and were now a family of four. Not only a family of four but their sweet littlest one is about to celebrate his first birthday.  Naturally we needed to celebrate with cake.

We weren’t sure how the smashing was going to go as this was he first time having sweets but he loved it.  Of course, he had a little help!!!  Before we knew it, he had both hands in that cake and couldn’t get it in his mouth fast enough.  I love cake smashes and I am so thrilled that I get to capture these amazing moments for all of my clients.  Whether it’s the first few days and weeks of life or cake, I love this job!
