Aldie VA Portrait Photographer | School Portraits Anyone?
I’m in a funk. But if I am truly being honest, aren’t we all? There are so many memes, tweets and funny photos that have made their way around that have lightened the mood, taken the edge off, and sometimes just induced a good cry. We have to make ourselves feel better somehow, right? We are in a hard period of life, a historic period of life. I remember when living through 9/11 was so big and so heavy and all I could think of was if I ever have kids, they will only read about what we are living through right now. My kids are now thinking that way about our world right at this minute. It’s not just the virus that makes this hard, its the unknowns.
One thing that my kids are taking the hardest is the fact they will not start their school year off in school. Our county (as most of the counties around us) have opted for 100% distance learning. If my babies can’t be in school full time, then I am glad they will get to see each of their teachers twice a week for instruction. We are not able to even consider going back into school until January 15, 2020. So much has changed and so much will continue to change between now and then. But one thing that will be certain, if we can’t go to school, there will be no fall school portraits for all the kids.
I would like to offer the opportunity for a Fall School photo. We can have so much fun with traditional and even “masked” photos. I have put together a package that will allow for an online gallery where you will be able to choose 1 image available for download of your child. There will also be the option to purchase more if you’d like. The photo will have a personal use and print release for you to print when and where you’d like.
