Centerville VA Maternity Photographer | Awaiting Her Miracle

I met the sweetest mama-to-be on Saturday in the cold at one of my favorite places (her choice) to shoot.  We had been emailing back and forth for a few months before she finally decided to her maternity session.  You see, she is now 38+ weeks pregnant.  You wouldn’t know it from how she looks (she is stunning) but that sweet baby is coming very very soon! We chatted a lot during our session.  Meagan shared a little about how this baby came to be, she talked about her wife (who I am sad I haven’t met yet) and this incredible story they will one day share with this baby.  She explained just how important these images are to her and how it will help her share with her little one just how loved and wanted they are.  I say “they” because she has no idea is this baby is a boy or a girl.  How exciting! In the midst of our conversation a we were walking, I found out that Meagan is a cookbook author that you can buy on Amazon! Oh yeah, you better believe this non-cooking mama bought it. Her story of this cookbook is also amazing as she said she was a terrible cook and so she taught herself how to cook and documented in through her blog Scarletta Bakes. How cool is that?
