We have entrusted Krystal with our family photos for the past five years. She has watched our daughter grow, from our first session just before her first birthday, to just this spring. We’ve enjoyed every session that we’ve ever had with her and our daughter just loves her, of course, that was after our daughter made Krystal really work for it the first few years! Krystal’s photography is the reason we have priceless artwork on our walls. In the past, we had always gotten our pictures taken at a less than expensive studio. My husband and I asked Krystal to take our pictures on our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We dressed in our wedding garments and dressed up our children and Krystal helped us recreate a special moment similar to that on our wedding day that our children could experience with us. During the session, she posed us in creative shots and really made the session enjoyable and so special. The pictures she produced were beautiful and unique, and will last a lifetime. About a year ago Krystal donated a portrait session to a non-profit to be raffled off at one of their events. Apparently she does this regularly. This alone says enough about her business’ values and motives, and if you’re shopping for a photographer, I urge you to ask each potential business about their contributions to the community.
I was the lucky winner of the raffle and couldn’t be happier with our experience. First of all, the service she gave us was a gift, so it wouldn’t have been unthinkable for her to give us a half-hearted session. However, from the minute we arrived at her studio to the minute the prints arrived at our door, Krystal gave us red-carpet treatment and regarded us as what seemed like her most valuable clients.
As for specifics, she was professional and fun throughout the session. She was hospitable and gracious, considering and suggesting things that I hadn’t even thought of. Her editing process was prompt, and she never over-promised an unrealistic timeframe. Every time I had a question, I’d email her and she’d reply within minutes, even during off-hours.
