Northern Virginia Child Photographer | Give Her Cake

To say that I love cake smash sessions is seriously an understatement.  Next to photographing newborns, they are my absolute favorite.  You never know how a little one is going to react to the sugar, the feel of cake between their fingers (and their toes) or even if they will like the taste. I have had some one year olds who absolutely do not like cake and some that have gone in head first.  This session was somewhere in the middle.  While Z did not go in head first, she did take her time.  She started with the icing and then once she got to the cake, she was mesmerized by the funfetti!  I Miss Z’s cake smash was sweet and even she even shared with her sweet brother.  It has been such and incredible year documenting all the milestones in this little one’s life.  It has been my honor to capture her at newborn, three, six, nine months and now one year.  I look forward to continuing to watch this little one grow.
