Northern Virginia Family Photographer | Our Happy Place

Every once in a while I get to a place where I just need to feel the sand between my toes, hear the waves crashing to the shore, and just lounge in a beach chair.  There is nothing better to me than the beach.  I grew up there, I spent every free day of my youth there, and it is truly my happy place.  Every summer, right before the start of a new school year, we head to the beach.  It is a fun week for our family and we get excited about it every year.  This year was no exception.  The weather was great for the most part we played at the beach and the pool and had a great old time.   For a week we didn’t worry about schedules, work, or dare I say, bedtimes.  We had lots of laughs, lots of water, and a little too much sun.  A good time was had by this crew and of course I took some photos along the way.  We can’t wait until next year!
